Marie-Anne Delahaut est directrice de recherche à l'Institut Destrée, responsable fondatrice de Millennia2015. Elle est également responsable du pôle Société de l'Information et administratrice réseaux de l'Institut Destrée, centre de recherche européen et ONG partenaire officiel de l'UNESCO (statut de consultation). Elle est présidente fondatrice de la Fondation Millennia2025 "Femmes et Innovation", fondation d'utilité publique dont l'objectif est de réaliser les activités du processus de recherche prospective Millennia2015 conduit par l'Institut Destrée.

Agrégée de Lettres françaises et d'anglais, elle a développé, depuis 1987, une expertise en administration des réseaux TIC et a contribué au développement du réseau autonome de télécommunications de l'Institut Destrée dès 1989.

Elle participe au Sommet mondial sur la société de l'information depuis 2003 ainsi qu'au Forum sur la gouvernance de l'internet. Elle a publié des travaux sur le thème "Prospective et gouvernance de l'internet". Membre de l'Internet Society (ISOC), elle a fondé en 1998 le Chapitre Wallonie de l'Internet Society (ISOC Wallonie - Belgique) dont elle est présidente honoraire après l'avoir présidé de 2005 à 2009.

Elle est membre de l'exécutif du Nœud de l'Aire de Bruxelles du Millennium Project dont elle a dirigé l'édition française du "State of the Future" 2005 et 2006,  de l'Association belge des Femmes Chefs d'Entreprises, de la Commission Femmes et Développement du Ministère belge de la Coopération au Développement, du Conseil des Femmes francophones de Belgique, ainsi que du European Center for Women and Technology. Elle a notamment reçu le titre de "Femme d'exception 2011" pour "son action et son parcours en faveur de l'égalité des chances entre les femmes et les hommes" de la part de la Vice-Première ministre fédérale belge, ministre de l'Emploi et de l'Egalité des chances. Elle a également été sélectionnée parmi les "Women Inspiring Europe 2012" par l'Institut européen pour l'égalité des genres (EIGE).

En 2007, Marie-Anne Delahaut a créé Millennia2015, "Femmes actrices de développement pour les enjeux mondiaux". Bénéficiant du patronage de l'UNESCO et de l'appui de l'Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (2008-2011), le processus de recherche prospective de Millennia2015 est mis en œuvre par l'Institut Destrée et ses partenaires internationaux. Avec la prospective comme méthode et la société de l'information comme contexte dans la solidarité. Millennia2015 agit pour l'égalité des genres, pour l'autonomisation des femmes et pour leur pleine participation aux décisions politiques, économiques et sociales, en complémentarité avec les hommes, afin de construire des futurs plus justes et plus éthiques à l'horizon 2025. Le processus de Millennia2015 est structuré en trois conférences internationales : Liège en 2008, Paris à l'UNESCO en 2012 et New York aux Nations Unies en 2015.

La conférence internationale "Millennia2015, Un plan d'action pour l'autonomisation des femmes" est organisée par l'Institut Destrée avec le patronage de l'UNESCO en son siège à Paris les 3 et 4 décembre 2012.

Marie-Anne Delahaut habite en Wallonie, à la frontière française. Mariée, elle a trois fils, une fille et un petit-fils.

Marie-Anne Delahaut is Director of research at the Destree Institute, Founder and Head of Millennia2015. She also serves as head of the Information Society Unit and network administrator at The Destree Institute, European Research Centre and NGO in operational relations with UNESCO. Bachelor in Education, qualified teacher of French and of English, she has developed, since 1987, an expertise in ICT networks administration and has contributed, since 1989, to the development of the independent ICT network of the Destree Institute.

She participates in the World Summit on the information society since 2003 and in the Internet Governance Forum. She has published works about Foresight and governance of the internet. Member of the Internet Society (ISOC), she created the Chapter Wallonia (ISOC Belgium - Wallonia) in 1998, served as president (2005-2009) and is currently its honorary president.

She is a member of the Board of the Brussels-Area Node of the Millennium Project and director of publication of the French version of the "State of the Future" 2005 and 2006.

She is a member of the Belgian Association of Women Business owners, of the Commission on Women and Development of the Belgian Ministry of Development Cooperation, of the French-Speaking Women Council of Belgium and also of the European Center for Women and Technology. She was awarded the title of "Outstanding Woman 2011" for "her work and her action in favor of equal opportunities between women and men" from the Belgian Federal Deputy Prime Minister, in charge of Employment and Equal Opportunities. She has also been selected among the "Women inspiring Europe 2012" by the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE).

In 2007, Marie-Anne Delahaut has created Millennia2015 "Women actors of development for the global challenges". Built under the patronage of the UNESCO and with the support of the International Organization of La Francophonie (2008-2011), Millennia2015 is a foresight research process developed by The Destree Institute and its international partners. Millennia2015 works with foresight as a method and the information society as context in solidarity. Millennia2015 acts for gender equality, women's empowerment and their full participation to political, economic and social decisions, in complementarity with men, in order to build fairer and more ethic futures at the horizon 2025. Millennia2015's process is structured through three international conferences: Liege in 2008, Paris, UNESCO, in 2011 and New York, United Nations, in 2015.

The international conference "Millennia2015, An Action Plan for Women's Empowerment" is organized by The Destree Institute with the patronage of the UNESCO at its headquarters in Paris, 03-04 December 2012. The process is supported by the Millennia2025 "Women and Innovation" Foundation, Public Utility Foundation.

Marie-Anne Delahaut lives in Wallonia, near the French border. Married, she has three sons, one daughter and one grandson.
